Memories of the Hop Filled air of Western Approach Road! The geometry is stunning! Abd finally the greyness. O yes the greyness of Edinburgh – not its tourist tag but anyone who ghas klived in our great capital who hasn’t absorbed some of that greyness into their bones must live in a petulant bubble!!

BEYOND THE BREWERY Peter captures the essence of the ‘beauty’ of the old breweries and much much more…For instance…People talk about how beautiful Edinburgh is … it carainly can be – particularly on a fine April or May afternoon when the sun comes out after a shower! But when you have lived there for a while you get well acquinted with other sides of its character. Memories of the hop-filled air of the Western Approach Road! The nostalgic geometry of the dreadfully dated modernist former Scottish and Newcastle Brewery is stunning! And finally the greyness… O the greyness of Edinburgh – not its tourist tag – but anyone who has lived in our great capital who hasn’t absorbed some of that greyness into their bones must live in a permanently sealed bubble!!
